TONIGHT MY SISTER WAS VISITING FROM OUT OF TOWN(McCOLL S.C). I INVITED HER TO OUR CHURCH SINGING BECAUSE I THOUGHT SHE WOULD ENJOY IT. WHEN YOU STARTED SINGING WE WERE AMAZED AT YOUR VOICE AND THE WORDS OF YOUR SONG. WHEN YOU SANG "MIDNIGHT CRY" WE WERE FLOORED. WOW! SHE HAS BEEN SINGING THAT FOR YEARS. MY MOM IS DEAD NOW, BUT EVERYTIME MY SISTER SUNG THAT SONG, MOM WOULD CRY IN THE SPIRIT. WHEN I WOULD ASK HER WHY, SHE WOULD NOT ANSWER. I WOULD HAVE NEVER THOUGHT I WE WOULD ONE DAY FIND THE WRITER OF THAT SONG AT A SINGING IN TR. I KNOW YOU ALREADY KNOW MANY LIVES HAVE BEEN TOUCHED WITH YOUR WORDS,BUT, YOU CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW MANY TIMES THE SPIRIT OF GOD MOVED EVERYTIME SOMEONE SONG THAT SONG ACROSS THE WORLD.

You were a blessing last night at Clearview Baptist Church. I believe God sent you my way for a reason. I've been struggling and hurting with a sick family member and "Lord It Hurts , But You're Still God" let me know I wasn't alone in this. I hope to be able to see you perform again. Thank you for the blessing I received last night.

Well...I heard "Midnight Cry" growing up my entire life. Even sang it with my family! Never imagined I would be meeting the amazing singer/songwriter Greg Day. We met just about 4 months ago at the Gospel Songwriter and have been the dearest of friends ever since! I cannot tell you how much you mean to me or my family! Not only are your songs inspired by God, but your spirit and friendship are as well. Thank you for MY SONG "Not Yet"! I cannot tell you how much that songs means to my heart and what it does for me as I go through this "trial of life". Even though "Lord It Hurts, But You're Still God" wasn't written for me...it helped me through many times before! Again...thank you for your testimony, your songs, your spirit, and more than anything your love and friendship! You are an amazing person and God will continue to bless YOU!

Greg, I heard your testimony at the Sons of Jubal Concert on March 11, 2010 at Flat Creek Baptist Church in Fayetteville, GA. Now, I understand why "Midnight Cry" is so powerful. I comes from the heart of man whose life was turned around by a man who truly loved you and loved the Lord. I know that there were not many dry eyes in the congregation and in the Sons of Jubal that night.May God continue to bless you, four family and ministry.
